Hemorrhoids symptoms and signs

July 11th, 2011 by ali

Many of us suffer from hemorrhoids symptoms but we are often unclear to precisely what they are and what can be done about them. There is a very good affordable guide to hemorrhoids symptoms and their causes and remedies which explains the issues in considerably more detail then we can do here.

Although many people have hemorrhoids, not all experience symptoms. The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bright red blood covering the stool, on toilet paper, or in the toilet bowl. However, an may protrude through the anus outside the body, becoming irritated and painful. This is known as a protruding hemorrhoid.

Symptoms

Many anorectal problems, including fissures, fistulae, abscesses, or irritation and itching, also called pruritus ani, have similar symptoms and are incorrectly referred to as hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids symptoms usually are not dangerous or life threatening. In most cases, hemorrhoidal symptoms will go away within a few days.

Bleeding during bowel movements, itching, and rectal pain are the most common hemorrhoids symptoms.

External hemorrhoids

Rectal pain appears mainly with external hemorrhoids. Blood may pool under the skin, forming a hard, painful lump. This is called a thrombosed, or clotted, hemorrhoid. You might also be aware of streaks of blood on the toilet paper after straining to pass a stool.

Internal hemorrhoids

The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids symptoms is rectal bleeding. You may find bright red streaks of blood on the toilet paper or bright red blood in the toilet bowl after a normal bowel movement. Blood also may be visible on the surface of the stool.

Other symptoms of internal hemorrhoids may include:

  • Itching. This is a frequent complaint, because internal hemorrhoids often seep, which can irritate the anal skin and cause itching.
  • Skin irritation. Large hemorrhoids that bulge from the anus may secrete mucus, causing irritation.
  • Discomfort. You may still feel the urge to pass stool right after having a bowel movement. This uncomfortable feeling is caused by the bulging of the hemorrhoid in the end portion of the large intestine . In general, the larger the hemorrhoid, the larger the discomfort.
  • Pain. Most internal hemorrhoids are not painful. But large hemorrhoids that protrude from the anus may become painful if they swell and are squeezed by the muscles that control the anus. Severe pain may be a sign that the blood supply to the hemorrhoid is being cut off (strangulated hemorrhoid). Emergency treatment is needed.

Rectal bleeding and pain and recent changes in bowel habits are also symptoms of colon, rectal, or anal cancer. People who have these symptoms, especially those age 50 or older or those with a family history of colon cancer, should talk to their doctor or health professional.

Other conditions with symptoms similar to hemorrhoids include anal fissures, anal fistulas, colon polyps, rectal prolapse, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

You are always recommended to discuss hemorrhoids symptoms with your doctor at the earliest opportunity. Early treatment usually results in early relief.

Not sure what causes external heoroids ? Whether you are a long-term hemorrhoids sufferer or new to piles, you can learn how to treat hemorrhoids quickly and effectively the natural way. We have selected this guide which will tell you what causes external hemoroids and everything about the cure for piles in the comfort of your own home.
The hemoroids cure taking the world by storm has to be good and is a real alternative to creams for piles.

hemeroidsarrowPeople getting relief from using this product in the States alone are now in the thousands and thousands. I was a bit skeptical myself but when you check out the traffic figures for their internet site, I was blown away.
It’s called H Miracle and it must have quite some recipe for success and I had to investigate why it is attracting all this attention.

This cure for external hemoroids was devised by international natural health expert, Holly Hayden. Yes, I know – I hadn’t heard of her either. But a lot of people are thankful to her now! It is meant to cure and completely treat internal hemoroids and external hemoroids (or piles) permanently. And the piles relief is dramatically fast, while the cure is completely natural, offering an effective alternative for the traditional cream for piles (which can prove expensive in the long run).

Piles – The painful common problem that nobody wants to talk about. The first step is to understand what causes external hemoroids and only then you can start to treat them. We all tend to suffer in silence, most people do not even discuss a cure for piles with their doctor until it gets to a very severe stage. We suffer the itch, the burning and the pain and dream of a cure for piles. We squirm on the chair to try and get comfortable, we drink lots of water, we eat lots of fibre in our meals to try and make things easier when we have to go. But we really still don’t know how what causes external hemoroids nor how to treat hemoroids effectively so we keep buying cream for piles in the ( sometimes forlorn ) hope that it will work.

External hemoroids are not life-threatening but as you may or may not have already experienced, living with hemeroids is not easy. They are usually caused by high pressure forced upon the rectum or anus often from (but not limited to) constipation, , and remaining seated for very .

Hemorrhoids or Piles are a common problem that millions of people worldwide go through in their lifetime without really understanding what causes hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoid symptoms are caused when the veins around the anus or inside the lower rectum become inflamed and swollen. They can be both internal hemoroids and external hemoroids, and while external hemoroids can generally be easily identified, an can often be confused with other ailments and difficult to diagnose. They typically don’t go away on their own, so it’s best to find out what causes external hemoroids and identify a cure for piles right away and get the relief you need. In extreme cases, some people need hemorrhoid surgery to remove those bleeding hemeroids.

If the hemoroid originates at the top (rectal side) of the anal canal, it is referred to as an internal hemoroid. If they originate at the lower end of the anal canal near the anus, it is referred to as external hemoroids. Technically, the differentiation between internal and external hemoroids is made on the basis of whether the hemoroid originates above or below the dentate line (internal and external, respectively).

Not only are external hemoroids painful they can be extremely embarrassing. If there is a cure for piles that doesn’t require the doctor to investigate your private parts then it’s got to be worth a try. I don’t know about you, but I am rather uncomfortable about a doctor sticking his hands down where the sun don’t shine – even if he has got rubber gloves on. So check out what causes external hemoroids today.

Long-lasting relief from external hemoroids could be yours today with H Miracle.
